Like so many of our generation, we are a second marriage blended family, with my daughters married and out on their own and her sons taking courses at the local college. Years earlier, and for security and stability, we both followed traditional career paths in technology and nursing.  Now that we are about to be  empty nesters and with uncertainty on the horizon, we asked ourselves will we be satisfied to remain complacent and just accept what life would dole out? Our answer was no, however where to start, how to change.

A friend introduced my wife to ‘The Secret’, which opened her thoughts to what could be possible if she chose not to continue in the medical field and follow the desires of her heart? Her searc

h resulted in attracting the Beyond Freedom program into her life, and then into our life. This was the summer of 2007. Upon completing the program she has focused her medical career to nutrition education in a diabetes practice, started her own home based business and fulfilled one of her dreams by opening a Reiki center. She has become active in speaking engagements, leading workshops and writing. At the same time, I have been able to clearly define my career and retirement objectives, place focus and energy on investment courses for to be more in control of our financial strategy, and pursue a path of certified life coach studies. Together we have created additional passive business opportunities that support our retirement goals. We now look at the possiblites of a post-retirement life, not with fear, rather as a life that will allow us to richly enjoy family and provide a path to give back to this world in part that which we have received.

The change doesn’t stop there. We found emotional restoratrion!  As a result we have a renewed discipline for consistent exercise and better eating habits. We have lost weight and kept it off. We sleep better. Our blood work is where our doctors want to see it. We are no longer drained, we have a vitality in our daily living.

We began this program with limited hopes of finding an answer to our frustrating question, ‘what do we do NOW?’  The fact for us is we attracted into our lives a program of continuing action, unlike any of the self-help books we had read. We have assimilate the Beyond Freedom concepts and principals into our life style. Beyond Freedom is our blueprint for today and the future.  The program has dramatically, definitively and dynamically strengthened and improved our lives as individuals and in our bond as a couple.
